Malwarebytes Anti-malware program  for Windows is known to interfere with GuardedID. The interference does not usually occur on a manual scan.

Issues have been reported when installing GuardedID on a machine with Malwarebytes already installed and during a weekly scan in some configurations.

If Malwarebytes is interfering, disable or uninstall Malwarebytes before installing GuardedID. If a GuardedID install did not work, uninstall Malwarebytes, then uninstall GuardedID and reboot.

Next, install GuardedID, reboot, and activate GuardedID.

Test the computer. When the computer is tested okay, install the latest version of Malwarebytes. Your computer should work normally now.
