Why can't I see notifications from GuardedID?

If you are not seeing notifications from GuardedID after updating to Windows 10 Version 1809 (released October 2nd, 2018), you must enable the "Let apps run in the background" setting found in Windows 10 "Settings > Privacy > Background apps" as seen below:

 

 

You can easily find this settings menu by clicking here or by typing "Background apps" into the Windows taskbar / Cortana search box.
